WNBA All-Star Game 2025 | How to watch, roster, local events

The WNBA All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

INDIANAPOLIS — The AT&T WNBA All-Star 2025 will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis — home of the Indiana Fever. 

This marks the first time that the Circle City has hosted the league’s midseason showcase. 

The WNBA All-Star Game will be played on Saturday, July 19.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Events

WNBA Live

In addition to the All-Star Game, fans also will be able to enjoy WNBA Live for the fourth year. WNBA Live will be at the Indiana Convention Center on July 18-19 during WNBA All-Star 2025. This is an interactive event that “offers WNBA fans an opportunity to experience the intersection of basketball, entertainment and culture,” event officials said. 

Fever Fest

The inaugural Fever Fest will take place July 19 at Everwise Amphitheater and include more than three hours of nonstop entertainment with performances by: The Kid LAROI, Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones, Aida Rodriguez, G-Eazy, BIA and 803Fresh. 

The event will be hosted by comedy legend Deon Cole.

Fever player Sydney Colson will make her stand-up comedy debut as the opening act for Fever Fest.

After the final performance, fans can stick around for an All-Star watch party, starting at 8:30 p.m.

Road closures

IMPD provided the following map to share the road closures and activations around downtown Indianapolis.

Here’s a list of the closures: 

From Wednesday, July 16 at 8 a.m. until Sunday, July 20 at 6 p.m., the following full closures are in effect: 

  • Eastbound Georgia Street is closed between Illinois and Meridian streets, and Meridian and Pennsylvania streets
  • Southbound McCrae Street is closed between Georgia and Jackson streets
  • Northbound Scioto Street is closed between Louisiana and Georgia streets
  • The south half of Monument Circle is closed Wednesday, July 16 at 8 a.m. until Sunday, July 20 at 6 p.m.
  • The northeast quadrant of Monument Circle is closed from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 19.
  • Delaware Street is closed between South and Maryland streets from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19.

Closed due to construction

  • Illinois Street from South to Georgia streets northbound
  • Georgia Street westbound from Illinois Street to Capitol Avenue
  • Georgia Street eastbound from Capitol Avenue to Illinois Street
  • Temporary road closures are in effect from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 19 from the American Legion Mall, south on Meridian Street to Monument Circle .

How to watch All-Star events

Friday, July 18: 3-point contest and skills challenge, 8 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Saturday, July 19: All-Star Game, 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC)

Roster

Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier were announced as captains of the WNBA All-Star Game on June 30. Clark received 1,293,526 votes from fans while Collier received 1,176,020 votes. 

The team rosters selected by Clark and Collier were revealed on July 8. 

Clark chose her fellow teammate Aliyah Boston as the first overall pick, and Collier chose Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty as the second pick.

After each captain made their final selections, they made one trade and swapped head coaches. Sandy Brondello and her New York Liberty staff will lead Clark’s team, and Cheryl Reeve and her Lynx staff will lead Collier’s team.

Clark’s team will wear gradient uniforms, and Collier’s team will wear black uniforms.
