Without Girlfriends, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner Are Tennis’ Most Eligible Bachelors

Without Girlfriends, Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner Are Tennis’ Most Eligible Bachelors originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

There is a Wimbledon tradition where stars like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner head to their box to kiss their wife or girlfriend after winning tennis’ most coveted major. Unless one of the stars has a Sunday surprise in store, tennis’ two most eligible bachelors will share the moment with their families, absent of any love interest.

Alcaraz and Sinner have a lot in common, aside from being two of the best tennis players on the planet. Rumors will not stop swirling about potential girlfriends for both Alcaraz and Sinner. Both athletes have attempted to dismiss these rumors, but the internet is undefeated.

Alcaraz has been linked to tennis player Emma Raducanu, but both athletes have emphasized there is no romantic involvement.

“We’re just good friends,” Raducanu told reporters on June 28, when asked about Alcaraz.

Sinner has been in several relationships during his tennis career, most recently with Anna Kalinskaya. In recent months, Sinner was also linked to model Laila Hasanovic, but the tennis player quickly dismissed these rumors.

“There’s a lot of attention,” Sinner noted in May, via Tennis Up to Date. “Also, off the court, I was surprised to see some pictures, which, nothing serious. I’m not in a relationship!”

Alcaraz has been a bit more private but declared himself single during a June 2024, interview with The Sunday Times’ Matthew Syed.

“No, I am single,” Alcaraz noted. “I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are traveling all the time.”

As for Sinner, the tennis star has taken notice that the top stars typically have the support of a partner.

“Of course it’s not easy, I travel a lot and during tournaments I’m very focused,” Sinner told Vanity Fair’s Federico Rocca during a June 4, 2024, interview. “But I think it’s a wonderful thing when you find the right love like everyone else.

“And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children.”

If either tennis player is dating someone, they are both doing a good job of keeping the relationship private. All signs point to the next Wimbledon champion being single, increasing the appeal of their most eligible bachelor status.
