Hughes is a hockey player for the New Jersey Devils. After being drafted as first pick overall in 2019, he’s stayed with the Devils since, typically playing center forward. He is also alternate captain to the team, which includes his younger brother Luke Hughes, who joined as a defenseman in 2021.
Hughes is also an ambassador for Ralph Lauren as of October 2025. He previously appeared in content for Bath & Body Works as well.
