Plenty of commentators have
been pointing to Wales as one of the most vocal sets of supporters out in Switzerland.
Bethan Bushen’s part of the
Red Wall out in St Gallen ready to bring the noise tonight as they take on
France.
She’s supporting Cymru
abroad for the first time but with the number of fans out there, it feels “like
we’re back at home”, she says.
“There’s that sense of Welsh
community out here,” she tells BBC Newsbeat. “One big Welsh family.”
She says she “expected” Wales’ 3-0 loss to the Netherlands in the opening game but the disappointing start
isn’t worrying her.
“The Welsh are known for
being resistant, we want to keep coming back,” she says.
“The Red Wall – we’re out
here in force. We’ll do as much as we can as fans to boost the confidence of
the girls on the pitch.”
