Thunder vs Suns channel tonight, NBA Cup game time, TV, live stream

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder will finish NBA Cup group play with a home game against the Phoenix Suns at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

OKC (18-1) improved to 3-0 in group play with a 113-105 home win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Jalen Williams will make his season debut after being sidelined by a nagging right shooting wrist injury.

Phoenix (12-7) is also 3-0 in group play following its 112-100 road win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. The winner will secure a spot in the NBA Cup’s knockout round, while the loser will have to compete for the Western Conference’s lone wild card spot.

Thunder vs Suns predictions, picks

Justin Martinez: OKC 118, Phoenix 108

Phoenix is playing well to start this season, but it’s still a ways away from being on OKC’s level. It isn’t as good defensively, and it’ll be without two of its better defenders in Grayson Allen and Ryan Dunn. It isn’t as good offensively either, and it’ll be without Jalen Green. Meanwhile, OKC just got even better on both ends of the floor with the announcement of Jalen Williams’ return. I’m going with the Thunder at home.
