SEPTA’s Lansdale Station shuts down after freight train accident – NBC10 Philadelphia

A freight train collided with a vehicle, shutting down SEPTA’s Lansdale Station in Montgomery County early Tuesday morning.

In a social media post, SEPTA officials wrote in part:

“Doylestown: Service is suspended until further notice due to an accident involving a freight train and automobile near Lansdale Station.”

NBC10 is on the scene, and a heavy police presence is visible.

Officials are suggesting that riders use an alternative service by using the SEPTA Trip Planner.
