Rosie Huntington-Whiteley demonstrates perfect wedding-guest dressing in a lemon-yellow gown

While it’s been a strong year for butter-yellow so far, if Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s latest look is to be taken as gospel (which it almost always is), the trending shade threatens to be dethroned by a new summery upgrade.

Over the weekend, the Mad Max: Fury Road star attended the post-wedding celebrations for her brother, Toby Huntington-Whiteley, in Positano, Italy. The occasion mirrored the enchanting nature of its idyllic surroundings, and the actress opted for a wedding-guest look that distilled the singular beauty of the Amalfi Coast into an elegant, sweeping gown.

For the celebrations, the model slipped into a silky, backless lemon-yellow dress with a gathered halter-neck and fluid silhouette which finished in a pooling train. The piece was custom-made by The Own Studio, which also has an ivory version of the style, and featured a delicate pearl strap detail across the back.

The look luxuriated in minimalism, with Huntington-Whiteley simply styling the gown with a pair of white satin Aquazzura sandals. She further elevated the look with a pair of Jessica McCormack diamond and gold earrings and a silver Cartier Panthère watch.

Despite the Mediterranean heat, the model wore her long honey-blonde hair down and styled it with soft, subtle waves at the ends which cascaded down her back.

The official wedding ceremony had taken place the week prior in Paris, to which Huntington-Whiteley also wore a befitting summer-inspired shade. The actress attended in a soft sorbet-pink ensemble from The New Arrivals which consisted of a sheer asymmetric silk top layered over a satin triangle bra and a column maxi skirt.
