Ready to Rumble: Finalists Announced for Boca’s 5th Annual Battle of the Bands

Boca Raton, FL – July 1, 2025 – The stage is set, the amps are on, and the countdown is on! The City of Boca Raton is proud to announce the finalists for the 5th Annual Battle of the Bands, returning to Mizner Park Amphitheater on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 7 p.m., for an electrifying night of local music, high-energy competition, and community celebration.

“Each year, the Battle of the Bands grows in talent, energy, and community spirit,” said Amy DiNorscio, Amphitheater and Community Events Manager, City of Boca Raton“This year’s lineup is one of our most exciting yet, and we’re thrilled to showcase such a diverse mix of young musicians and entrepreneurs. It’s more than a competition — it’s a celebration of creativity and connection, right in the heart of our city.”

This year’s finalists include:

UNDER 20 CATEGORY

  • Jinx
  • Shy Blossom
  • The Kid Brothers
  • The Strangers

OVER 20 CATEGORY

  • Blood Moon Mafia
  • Jupiter Rock Farm
  • Leave it to Us
  • The Marina Effect

These standout bands will battle it out live on stage in front of a panel of industry judges and an enthusiastic crowd. Winners in each category will receive a $2,500 cash prize, exclusive promotional opportunities, and major bragging rights as Boca’s top emerging artists. The coveted People’s Choice Award will also be back, giving the audience the chance to crown their favorite performance of the night.

Last year’s event saw Midnight3 take home the People’s Choice Award, UnRavel win the Under 20 category, and The Ryan Cooper Band rise to the top of the Over 20 group.

PLUS — YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS MARKET RETURNS!
Adding an exciting entrepreneurial edge to the evening, the Young Entrepreneurs Market will showcase teen-owned businesses from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. alongside the concert. Featuring youth vendors ages 13–20, the market spotlights creative ventures ranging from handmade goods and fashion to digital services and pet care.

Battle of the Bands has proven to be a launching pad for rising local talent. Audio Crisis, who won the Teen Category in 2019 and Over 20 in 2022, was recently invited to perform at Post Malone’s Travelin’ Tailgate ahead of his summer concert at Hard Rock Stadium. Their continued success is a testament to the power of platforms like Battle of the Bands to amplify homegrown talent.
