With two wins from two matches Norway have already won Group A and secured their place in the knockout stages, with tonight’s game against already eliminated Iceland a formality.
As it stands they are set to meet Italy in the quarter-finals next Wednesday, although there remains a possibility that competition favourites Spain could await in Geneva.
For that to happen the Azurre would have to beat La Roja when they go head to head in their final Group B match on Friday night. Stranger things have happened…
Either way Gemma Grainger’s Norway will want to round off the group stage with a good performance after struggling to find their best level against Switzerland and Finland.
