NCT Dream to kick off new tour Thursday

SEOUL, July 10 (Yonhap) — Boy band NCT Dream will launch its fourth concert tour this week, with a three-night run at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome starting Thursday, its agency said.

The “Dream the Future” tour will showcase the group’s nine-year journey and its future, in keeping with the time-travel concept of its upcoming fifth studio album, “Go Back to the Future,” SM Entertainment said.

During the Seoul concerts, the K-pop septet will stage the first live performances of “BTTF (Back to the Future)” and “Chiller,” the dual lead tracks of the album set for release Monday.

The opening-night concert will be streamed live at 90 cinemas across Japan, Taipei and Hong Kong. The final show will be broadcast live on Japan’s KNTV channel.

After Seoul, NCT Dream is set to tour several Asian cities, including Bangkok on Aug. 16-17, Hong Kong on Aug. 30 and Jakarta on Sept. 27-28.
