MLB is hosting the 2025 All-Star Game in Atlanta, and you know the names that put the city on the map are going to be in attendance for the festivities. As such, it should come as no surprise that Ludacris will play a big role in the event.
Ludacris will headline the list of pregame performers at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, the league announced Tuesday. He’ll be joined by Jermaine Dupri, Zac Brown Band, Kane Brown and Lauren Spencer Smith.

Dupri and Ludacris will take on the biggest roles. The pair will “introduce the 2025 All-Stars in a unique hometown tribute to honor the city’s influence on global music” with a medley that will feature some of Atlanta’s biggest music stars, per MLB. The Clark Atlanta Mighty Marching Panthers and Essence Dance Line will make appearances during that segment of the pregame show, and Kane Brown will pay tribute to Ray Charles with a performance of “Georgia on My Mind.”
Zac Brown Band was chosen to perform the U.S. National Anthem. Spencer Smith will perform the Canadian national anthem at the event.
Ludacris wasn’t born in Atlanta, but that’s where his music career got its start. He exploded onto the music scene in 2000 after releasing “Back for the First Time,” which hit No. 4 on the Billboard chart. Four of his next five albums reached No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
