Marisha Wallace to release “Cabaret” ahead of new album and Broadway run

Marisha Wallace has revealed plans for an upcoming single.

Her new album Live in London, which is set for release on 15 August 2025, features a selection of musical theatre songs and original numbers.

It was recorded live at the Adelphi Theatre in March, where she played to a sold-out audience.

The third single to be released will be the title song of Cabaret, which will be available digitally from 18 July. It comes ahead of her first performance as Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club on Broadway. It is a role she also played in the West End.

Wallace, who has previously appeared in the West End in Dreamgirls, Waitress, Hairspray, Oklahoma! and Guys and Dolls, has been nominated three times for WhatsOnStage Awards. On screen, she has appeared in Feel Good, Jingle Jangle, Almost Never and Disney’s Aladdin. Her music career has included collaborations with Toby Gad and Steve Anderson, and she has performed for the King and Queen, the Royal Variety Performance and D-Day at 80.

The album includes material from Dreamgirls, Gypsy, Aida, Guys and Dolls, Funny Girl, Annie, Hairspray, Cabaret, Oklahoma! and more. Wallace was also joined during the performance by her former Waitress co-stars Lucie Jones and Laura Baldwin, with whom she sang “Opening Up” and “A Soft Place to Land”.

The track list includes “Some People” (Gypsy), “Mysterious Ways” (The Color Purple), a Whitney Houston medley, “The Gods Love Nubia” (Aida), “Tomorrow” (Annie), “Shine”, “I Cain’t Say No” (Oklahoma!), “My Man” (Funny Girl), “Miles and Miles” (Jingle Jangle), “And I Am Telling You” (Dreamgirls), “Dreamgirls” (Dreamgirls), “Listen” (Dreamgirls), “I Didn’t Plan It” (Waitress), “Adelaide’s Lament” (Guys and Dolls), “Maybe This Time” (Cabaret), “Take Back Your Mink” (Guys and Dolls), an Etta James medley, “I Know Where I’ve Been” (Hairspray), “Cabaret” (Cabaret), and an encore performance of “Proud Mary”.

“Maybe This Time”, and “And I’m Telling You (I’m Not Going)” are available to listen to now.

The album is produced by Ben Robbins and Wallace and executive produced by Van Dean, Brian Spector, Michael Scott, Robbie Rozelle and Neil O’Brien. It will be released on CD and digital platforms via Westway Music and Center Stage Records.
