Jelly Roll is poking fun at his new beardless look.
In a new snap shared to his Instagram profile Nov. 24, the country singer, 40, showed off his new trimmed-down face, just a week after shaving his trademark facial hair.
“AI is getting crazy these days,” he quipped in the caption, alongside a photo of himself in a taupe shirt and black overalls. His hair is cut short in the front and his beard sheared, creating a stark contrast to the public image he sported during his rise to fame.

This is only one part of Jelly Roll’s recent public transformation. The genre-bending artist has also been open about his weight loss journey, shedding hundreds of pounds in the past year.

In a video shared to X by the NFL’s Tennessee Titans in August, Jelly Roll revealed that he had “lost 200 pounds.”
“I can’t get on the field,” he joked, but added that he was “close.”
“I lost 200 pounds. I told coach I’m getting a contract if I lose another 50,” the singer said to the sound of applause.
The revelation follows another series of comments in April in which the musician told crowds at a Pittsburgh show that he was working toward a dream date with his wife.
“I started at 540 pounds I’m 357 pounds this morning, baby,” he said at the time. “I’m going to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby.”
