In The Dock: appearances at Poole Magistrates’ Court

STEPHEN COOPER, 41 and of Fairmile in Christchurch, admitted to driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit, namely 62mg/l, in Walcott Avenue in Christchurch on April 18. Cooper was fined £576, disqualified from driving for one year and five months, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £230.

BENJAMIN HENNIKER-PARKER, 21 and of Tamworth Road in Bournemouth, admitted to driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above the limit, namely 57mg/l, in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on April 20. Henniker-Parker was fined £120, disqualified from driving for one year and four months, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £48.

ROBERT THOMAS, 37 and of Puddletown Crescent in Poole, admitted to three counts of harassment on breach of restraining order on conviction at Puddletown Crescent on May 5, May 28 and June 7. Thomas was handed an 18-week sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.

SIMON WOOD, 57 and of Bradburne Road in Bournemouth, admitted to breach of a sexual harm prevention order in Bradburne Road between July 7, 2024 and July 16, 2024. Wood was handed a community order for 12 months, must complete 20 rehabilitation activity days, complete 100 hours of unpaid work, pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £114.

DANIEL SIMS, 19 and of Northey Road in Bournemouth, admitted to racially/ religiously aggravated harassment/ alarm/ distress by words/ writing in Alma Road in Bournemouth on September 20. Sims was fined £150 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 however, the sentence was deemed served by the time already spent in custody.

MERON HABTU, 22 and of no fixed abode, admitted to failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders register in Bournemouth on April 11. Habtu was jailed for six months because of the nature of the offence, record and the defendant is a serving prisoner.

RYAN AGER, 37 and of Ashley Road in Poole, admitted to possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Weymouth on April 20. Ager was fined £333 and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs.

JACOB GIERLICHS, 26 and of Velvet Lawn Road in New Milton, admitted to two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a controlled drug above the specified limit, namely 209mg/l of Benzoylecgonine and 80mg/l of ketamine, in Lyndhurst Road in Hinton on January 1. Gierlichs was fined £392, disqualified from driving for one year and eight months, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £157.

MICHAEL HOCKMAN, 83 and of Manor Close in Ferndown, admitted to driving while unfit through drink on Redhill Roundabout, Whitelegg Way and Northbourne Roundabout in Bournemouth on April 20. Hockman was fined £769, disqualified from driving for one year and four months, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £308.
