Brontosaurus is a Mythical pet and one of the six pets available in the Dinosaur Egg that was added to Grow a Garden as part of the Prehistoric Update on July 5, 2025. If you’re hoping to add the Brontosaurus to your collection, here’s a breakdown of all the important information you need to know, including rarity, and its unique abilities.
How to Get a Brontosaurus in Grow a Garden
The Brontosaurus is a pet that’s exclusive to the Dinosaur Egg in Grow a Garden. It’s a Mythical pet, unlike the four Legendary ones available in the Dinosaur Egg. Which is why you’re more likely to get a Raptor or Triceratops from a Dinosaur Egg than you are the Mythical Brontosaurus, or the Divine T-Rex.
But unlike other Grow a Garden pets, this isn’t the only way to get dinosaurs. Depending on the rarity of the pet you give to the Dinosaur Eggs NPC, Graham, you have a chance to get a dinosaur pet instead of an egg. And even if you don’t get a dinosaur pet, there’s a chance to get multiple eggs. Remember, you’ll lose any pet you give to Graham.
How to Get a Dinosaur Egg
There are two ways to get the Dinosaur Egg, so make sure you try these methods before it’s gone! While the Prehistoric Update runs, you can get the Dinosaur Egg by:
- Give common pets to the Dinosaur Eggs NPC, Graham. You’ll lose the pet you give to Graham, so make sure you’re okay with this. While you can give them rarer pets, they’re more likely to turn into a dinosaur pet than an egg. This process will take an hour to complete either way.
- Complete Dino Quests at the Pre-Historic Quest NPC, Blaire. For each set of three quests, you’ll get an Ancient Seed Pack, a Dinosaur Egg, and a Dino Crate, so focus on completing the Dino Quest that will bag you a Dinosaur Egg.
What Does the Brontosaurus Do in Grow a Garden?
The Brontosaurus has the unique ability of a chance to increase the base size and weight of pets hatched from eggs. This size bonus is capped at 30% per egg.
