Mitch Voit had a breakout sophomore season at the plate for Michigan’s baseball team in 2024, finishing second in batting average (.292) and home runs (14) while tying for the team lead with 46 RBIs.
Head coach Tracy Smith said Voit likely would have received a fifth-to-seventh-round grade if he was eligible for the draft that season, but pointed to one specific stat hampering his stock: a team-high 61 strikeouts in 59 games.
