Heavy rain is causing flooding and traffic issues around the state.
According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s website, there are multiple road closures around New Jersey – many of them in Union County.
The storm is bringing several inches of rain per hour to areas of New Jersey. The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings throughout the state.
Motorists are reminded to never drive through flooded roadways and to stay inside as much as possible during the storm.
