Fortnite developer Epic Games has announced plans to release a big new update as part of the recently launched Simpsons season.
Fortnite update 38.10 is the first major download of the new season, which runs until the end of November.
Adding new content and gameplay features, update 38.10 has been given a November 11 release date for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile.

The news was announced by Epic Games on X, alongside confirmation of more server downtime and a hint about what to expect.
“Tomorrow’s forecast: high chance of falling donuts…” reads an Epic Games tweet.
“Downtime for v38.10 begins at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand.”
As you can see from the tweet above, the update will make it rain in Springfield. Specifically it will rain donuts, which is a call back to an old Treehouse of Horror episode.
The new update will also introduce additional Simpsons characters and other guest skins.
According to insiders such as Shiina, the new update is likely to add files for the upcoming Professor Frink Peely skin, as well as Moe.
It looks like Plopper (aka Spider-Pig) from The Simpsons Movie is also about to join the game as a sidekick.
The next batch of Stranger Things skins are also likely to appear in the update files ahead of their release later this month.
