Dvorak spent the past four seasons with the Montreal Canadiens. He played in all 82 games during the regular season in 2024-25 and registered 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists). Dvorak also had two goals in five playoff games.
The 29-year-old forward from Palos Heights, Ill., was drafted in the second round, 58th overall, by the Arizona Coyotes in 2014.
He was traded to the Canadiens in September 2021 for a pair of draft picks, including a conditional first-rounder Montreal acquired from the Carolina Hurricanes as compensation for the signing of restricted free agent Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
Dvorak dealt with several injuries during his time in Montreal, including season-ending knee and pectoral muscle injuries in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
He captured the Memorial Cup during his final year with the London Knights in 2015-16 and recorded a team-leading 121 points in the regular season playing alongside the likes of Mitch Marner and Matthew Tkachuk.
