DETROIT – It’s a significantly cooler start to the day across the Metro areas as overnight lows dipped to either side of 60. However, this could possibly be the pick day of the week with dry and seasonable conditions on tap. Highs will be in the mid-80s under sunny skies with lower humidity. With that said, humidity will begin to rise overnight and lows will not be as cool as we drop into the upper 60s.
More humid conditions build in Wednesday, bringing an increasing potential for showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected, but locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds are possible. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
Mainly dry to round out the work week, but with the heat and humidity you simply can’t rule out the slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Otherwise, dry and warmer conditions are forecasted Friday as we rise into the upper 80s. Temperatures will stay above average this weekend with showers and thunderstorms possible late Saturday.
