WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch revealed her first “big” purchase after earning her first big wrestling paycheck.
During her appearance on the Are You Garbage? Comedy Podcast, Lynch was asked what her first “crazy” purchase was once she made it. Instead of spending wildly, Lynch revealed that she bought a pair of Adidas platform shoes, which she considered a smart purchase at the time.
“No. I bought, like, $250 shoes like runners, like Adidas Adidas, like platform Jeremy Scott shoes, which I thought was, like, baller. That was a ‘splurge.’”
Lynch mentioned that she’s not into designer fashion and only owns a Gucci purse that she bought for practical use.
“What do I need? Like, I’m not like, I’m not a designer person, you know? I have, like, a Gucci purse. I bought it for practicality, but it’s, like, worn to the ground,” Lynch explained. Like, it’s in bits, you know? I don’t care about any of that stuff. You know what I mean? Not a big baller.”

When asked about vacations, Lynch said her family prefers to be comfortable when they travel. It was a much different experience than she was used to as a kid.
“No. When we go away, we like something a bit nice, you know? But we just don’t go away very often.” However, she mentioned she’d love to visit a camper, “I would love to go down to the camper like that. I would love to do that. That just takes a lot of time, you know. And then I’m in the car with a four-year-old for, you know, six hours.
She recalled how her parents managed long drives by playing Fleetwood Mac on cassette tapes. “I have no idea how my parents did it, but they’d be blasting Fleetwood Mac and just, like yeah. The tape, you know? And then you’d have to take it out and turn it over, you know. It was great. It was great.”
