What has he said about Georgia?

Notable Quote: “Georgia is just that school that is just one of the top schools that are brought up when you think about college football,” Prothro said. “You will be playing the best ball on national TV. You will most definitely get to be in the spotlight every game.” April 1, 2024.

The Big Picture

Georgia already has two tight ends committed in the class of 2026. They landed two more in the 2025 class. Prothro is a major want.

He can do things some of the others can’t. Prothro has lined up as a wide receiver for much of his high school career. That could be the role he’d assume at least initially, should he land in Athens. Mike Bobo is always looking to create mismatches and deploy versatile playmakers around the field.

Prothro could add another element to the box of weapons at his disposal in the future. Protho could be a dominant pass-catching presence in the red zone of the football field. Young quarterbacks love big targets and Georgia could be seeing a lot of new faces at the signal-caller position moving into the near future.
