Payton (ankle) is available for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
Payton sprained his ankle in Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets, though he’ll return to action Saturday. Over his last five appearances (one start), the veteran swingman has averaged 5.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 14.4 minutes per contest. However, he could see a dip in minutes with Jonathan Kuminga (knee) back in action.
