The 8-2 Indianapolis Colts face the 5-5 Kansas City Chiefs in Missouri this Sunday as 3.5-point road underdogs. With a couple of poor games by QB Daniel Jones before the bye, they will look to get him back on track against the defending AFC champions.
One of the key pieces of their passing offense of late has been Alec Pierce. We saw his production spike ahead of the bye week, but can we count on a deep threat like Pierce to continue to give us consistent fantasy points?

Below, we’ll go over Alec Pierce’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 12.
Fantasy Football analysis: Colts, WR, Alec Pierce
After a slow start to the season, Pierce has now hit WR22, WR43, WR15, and WR14 over the Colts last four games. That has coincided with an increase in targets with 10, 5, 13, and 7 in that span. His deep ball prowess hasn’t helped him see a bunch of targets, but he’s getting more than deep passes when he hits those higher target numbers. That’s good for his consistency, while his home run ability is good for his upside.
This week he faces a good Chiefs defense that has limited wide receivers to the fourth-fewest fantasy points on the season. We can’t expect an easy go of things this week, but we can expect a game where it’s close, which should push Jones to throw more than they’d like him to.
