If you or someone you love is a Garth Brooks fan, there’s a new piece of music history could be the perfect gift this holiday season.
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the country music icon announced the release of a book that contains behind-the-scenes photos and stories from Brooks’ time on tour. Additionally, there are a number of CDs included and some exclusive songs, too.
“Announcing Garth Brooks The Anthology Part VI: The Comeback The Next Five Years,” the caption of a post on Brooks’ Instagram feed read. “If you’ve lived the music, now you can live the songs and the stories behind them. Anthology VI captures the most recent chapter of Garth’s incredible journey — Stadium highs, dive-bar roots, Vegas magic, and a historic return to Ireland!”
Garth Brooks The Anthology Part VI: The Comeback The Next Five Years is a limited edition collector’s item. It’s available for pre-order and will run you about $30.
“The Limited Edition includes a special gift slipcase. Filled with never-before-seen photos, 6 CDs featuring 60 songs, including tracks from FUN and Time Traveler; live covers and collaborations; plus a live recording of ‘Friends in Low Places’ from the Ireland shows that can only be found in this Anthology,” reads the item’s official description.
Brooks has previously released The Anthology parts I through V, and the whole set is available for $129.95.
On Brooks’ website, he’s quoted as saying, “Division is the first step toward losing a war. With COVID, the goal was to unify people without physically bringing them together…the hardest I have ever worked at entertaining.”
