Suns’ Jalen Green listed as probable ahead of Clippers game

The Phoenix Suns have listed guard Jalen Green (right hamstring strain) as probable ahead of their game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, the team announced Wednesday.

Additionally, guard Grayson Allen was added to the report after shootaround as questionable due to an illness.

Dillon Brooks was listed as out with a core muscle strain, per Wednesday’s NBA injury report.

Green has missed the Suns’ first eight games of the season with the injury, while Brooks has missed the last five games. Acquired by the Rockets in the offseason, Brooks and Green hadn’t missed a single regular season game in the last two seasons prior to this season.

Green has averaged 20.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in his career.

Kawhi Leonard, James Harden out vs. Suns

For the Clippers, James Harden (personal reasons) and Kawhi Leonard (right ankle sprain) were listed as out for Thursday’s game.

Additionally, Jordan Miller (left hamstring strain) and Kobe Sanders (right knee sprain) were also listed as out.

The Clippers beat the Suns 129-102 in their previous matchup on Oct. 24 at the Intuit Dome. Harden scored a team-high 30 points, while Leonard scored 27 in the win.

The Suns and Clippers tip-off from Mortgage Matchup Center at 7 p.m.
