Wowee, John Parry records the hole in one!
It’s been a fine day so far for the 38-year-old Englishman, from the spa town of Harrogate, Yorkshire.
A steady eight pars and a birdie on the front nine; par, par, birdie, to start the back nine.
Then came hole 12, the 192-yard par three. From there, it’s perfect and nestles in the hole to huge cheers from the Royal Portrush fans.
Parry beaming with delight and disbelief. What a moment for him.
