Cincinnati Reds’ All-Star pitcher Andrew Abbott showed off the inside of his snazzy navy blue suit, which pays tribute to all the people who’ve made his career possible, during the 2025 MLB All-Star Red Carpet Show on July 15.

The inside of his suit jacket was adorned with a photo collage and his baseball number, No. 41. Abbott told Fox Sports the jacket featured pictures of his family, his dog and others who have helped him “get to this point in (his) career.”

Abbott was selected to the National League roster as a replacement for Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who is ineligible to pitch in Tuesday’s All-Star game because he’s scheduled to pitch Sunday for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“It means the world,” said Abbott, who earned his first career selection. “You grow up and want to be an MLB baseball player. To get the recognition of being an All-Star, I can’t put it into words. I’m just excited to represent (family), represent Cincinnati at the game and go have some fun.”

Abbott will join his teammate and star player, Elly De La Cruz, at the 2025 All-Star game.
