Another one bites the dust! During tonight’s episode of Love Island [15 July], another couple was dumped from the Villa after Shakira and Ty were given the difficult decision to dump one of their fellow couples from the show, leading to major drama in the Villa.
At the end of last night’s episode the Islanders received the news the public had been voting for the most compatible couple, in which Shakira and Ty were awarded the title of most compatible. The least compatible couple were Ben and Andrada, and they were immediately dumped from the Villa.
Then, the Islanders were told three other couples were vulnerable – Harrison and Lauren, Conor and Emma, and Tommy and Lucy. It was then down to Shakira and Ty as the most compatible couple to pick which one to send home today.

During the start of tonight’s episode Ty and Shakira debated who to send home and eventually decided on sending home Tommy and Lucy.
Shakira shared the couple’s decision at the Fire Pit explaining: “Me and Ty had a lot of back and forth with each other. We discussed whether things were already solid enough for it to work on the outside and if people still have things to explore within the Villa. So the couple we have deiced to dump is Lucy and Tommy.”
Meg then asked Shakira: “Do you actually think they’re the least compatible?” To which Shakira replied: “We didn’t go off that.”

After leaving the Villa, Tommy questioned Shakira and Ty’s decision, theorising Shakira had down it for other reasons.
The decision shocked the Villa with many of the Islanders expressing their confusion at Shakira dumping Tommy and Lucy.
Helena and Meg expressed their confusion at the couple being dumped, sharing how compatible they were, and saying another couple should have gone home. This then caused Emma to say “I’m right here” and questioned if they wanted her to leave the Villa.
Later on in the episode Shakira’s decision to save Conor was questioned by the rest of the Villa as she is getting to know him. Shakira then admitted to Ty if there was to be a recoupling she would pick Conor instead.
Eeek. The drama continues.
