The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 6:45 p.m. on Monday for strong thunderstorms until 7:30 p.m. for Hudson and Union counties.
Residents can anticipate wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 6:44 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Todt Hill, moving east at 10 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”
