YouTube TV, one of the leading live TV streaming services in the United States, has announced a significant update to its popular Multiview feature, adding more channels, including FS2, to its customizable lineup. This upgrade allows subscribers to create their own Multiview experience, selecting between two and four channels to watch simultaneously on a single screen, catering to sports fans, news enthusiasts, and multitaskers alike.
The addition of FS2, a key sports network known for its coverage of soccer, motorsports, and other live events, marks a major expansion of YouTube TV’s Multiview offerings. Subscribers can now build custom Multiview screens that include FS2 alongside other popular national channels like ESPN, Bravo, USA, and CNN, as well as local affiliates such as ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC in select markets. This move responds to user demand for greater flexibility in tailoring their viewing experience, particularly for sports fans who want to follow multiple games or events at once.
The updated Multiview feature, which first launched in 2023 primarily for sports content like March Madness, now supports a broader range of genres. Users can access the feature by navigating to the “Watch in Multiview” or “Top Picks for You” rows on the YouTube TV app’s Home tab or by selecting an eligible channel and pressing down on their remote to choose or build a Multiview combination. The process is seamless across smart TVs, streaming devices like Roku, and mobile devices, ensuring accessibility for all subscribers.
For sports enthusiasts, the timing is perfect as the 2025 NFL season and other major sporting events approach. The integration of FS2 into Multiview allows fans to pair live soccer or motorsport coverage with other sports or entertainment channels, creating a personalized viewing hub. YouTube TV has also introduced an “Always-On” Multiview channel, streaming local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates 24/7, ideal for monitoring local news and events without manual selection.
While the rollout is gradual, with some users reporting access on Roku devices first, YouTube TV plans to expand the feature to more devices and include additional channels in the coming months.
