  • The airline is also adding several other routes from Florida airports to destinations including Akron-Canton, Wilmington, and Raleigh/Durham.

Breeze Airways is ramping up its Florida service, again. The low-cost airline had already announced 14 new routes from Sunshine State airports starting in September and October, and now it’s added a nonstop flight from Orlando to Norfolk, Virginia and bringing back a route between Tampa and Charleston, West Virginia.

“We continue to see rising demand for our service across the country as we redefine what premium experiences in affordable travel look like,” said Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman in a release. “These new and returning routes will allow our guests to conveniently connect to more amazing destinations across our network as we work to bring them even more options in the future.”

Breeze flies out of 11 Florida airports and added more new routes earlier this year.

What are the new Breeze routes from Florida? When do they start?

The latest announcement included two new Florida routes:

  • Orlando International Airport (MCO to Norfolk International Airport (ORF), Mondays and Fridays, starting Oct. 3, from $49 one way.
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA) to West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW), Mondays and Fridays, starting Oct. 3, from $49 one way.

What other Breeze flights are coming to Florida?

In May, Breeze announced it was adding service to Fort Lauderdale and Salisbury, Maryland and launching 12 new routes beginning in the fall. Here are the new Florida routes.

  • Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) to Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in Ohio, Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Sept. 3, from $49* one-way.
  • Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) to:
    • Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in Ohio, Wednesday and Saturday, BreezeThru (one stop/ no change of plane) service on Monday and Friday, starting Nov. 5, from $59 one-way.
    • Wilmington International Airport (CAK) in North Carolina, Monday and Friday, starting Nov. 7, from $39 one-way.
  • Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in Ohio, Thursday and Sunday, starting Sept. 4, from $59 one-way.
  • Key West International Airport (EYW) to:
    • Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in Ohio, BreezeThru (one stop/no change of plane) service on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting Oct 2, from $83 one-way.
    • Raleigh/Durham Airport (RDU) in North Carolina, Monday and Friday, starting October 3, from $79* one-way.
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO) to:
    • Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY) in Maryland, Monday and Friday, starting Oct. 1, from $59 one-way.
    • Wilmington International Airport (CAK) in North Carolina, doubling to 4x weekly service on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday starting in September.
  • Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in West Palm Beach to Akron-Canton Regional Airport (CAK) in Ohio, nonstop on Monday and Friday, BreezeThru (one stop/no change of plane) service on Wednesday and Saturday, starting Sept. 3.
  • Pensacola International Airport (PNS) to:
    • Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in Fayetteville, Thursday and Sunday, starting Sept. 4, from $49 one-way.
    • Memphis International Airport (MEM) in Tennessee, Monday and Friday, starting Sept. 5, from $39 one-way.
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA) to:
    • Wilmington International Airport (CAK) in North Carolina, Thursday and Sunday, starting Oct. 2, from $39 one-way.
    • Capital City Airport (LAN) in Lansing, Michigan, Wednesday and Saturday, starting Oct. 1, from $79 one-way.
    • Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) in New York, nonstop on Wednesday and Saturday, BreezeThru (one stop/no change of plane) service on Thursday and Sunday, starting Oct. 1, from $79 one-way.

When are the new Florida flights from Breeze on sale?

You can buy tickets for all the flights now. The starting prices listed above have some restrictions and include taxes and government fees.

What is Breeze Airways?

The low-cost, Utah-based airline kicked off in 2021 with a flight from Tampa to Charleston. Breeze operates 43 Airbus A220-300 aircraft and 10 Embraer 190 planes.

More new Florida flights from Allegiant, Avelo, Frontier, JetBlue

Breeze isn’t the only airline bringing new routes to the Sunshine State. Several of them have announced new flights or started them already, including:

  • Allegiant: Two more routes announced for the fall between Fort Lauderdale and South Bend, Indiana, and Key West and Knoxville, Tennessee.
  • Avelo: Extended its East Coast schedule through mid-February.
  • Delta: Started new nonstop Saturday flights, incuding several to and from Florida.
  • Frontier: Added three new routes between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Jacksonville, Fort Myers and Palm Beach.
  • JetBlue: Started a year-round route between Tampa and La Guardia Airport in New York City and a a new daily flight between Fort Lauderdale and Guatemala City, added premium service flight from Orlando.
  • Southwest: New nonstop flights from Sarasota to Orlando.
