LAS VEGAS – Rayan Rupert scored 23 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 106-73 victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Friday at Thomas and Mack Center.
The Trail Blazers jumped out to a 34-13 lead after one quarter, led by Rupert, who got off to a hot start with 11 points on 2-for-3 shooting, with 1-for-1 from deep, and 6-for-6 from the foul line in the opening period. Golden State opened the second on a 13-5 run and were able to cut it to a 13-point game at the break. The Blazers reclaimed dominance in the third, outscoring the Warriors 27-12, to make it a 28-point difference heading into the final quarter, which was more than enough of a cushion to cruise the rest of the way.
Rupert kept up his efficient scoring, as he finished the night with 5-for-8 shooting from the field, including 2-for-3 from deep, in addition to 11-for-11 shooting from the foul line. He also added nine rebounds, four assists and two steals to complete a standout performance. Caleb Love followed up with 18 points for the Trail Blazers, while James Bouknight filled the boxscore with 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, a steal and two blocks.
On the other side, the Warriors had three players score in double digits, led by Will Richard and Jackson Rowe with 12 points each, while Taran Armstrong chipped in 10 points.
The Warriors shot just 32.9% from the field, including 8-for-36 (22.2%) from long range. They also struggled at the foul line, shooting 65.2% as a team. On the contrary, the Trail Blazers shot 48.6% from the field and made 22 of their 25 free throws.
