A two-game losing streak has pushed the Aces to two games under .500, placing the team outside the current playoff picture, one game behind the Washington Mystics for the No. 8 seed.
Vegas fell 70-68 to the Mystics on Thursday with star forward A’ja Wilson out of the lineup. Jewell Loyd scored 20 points to keep Vegas competitive, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. Wilson is questionable for Saturday’s game with a wrist injury and would be a tough absence to make up against a very solid Valkyries squad.
Golden State is coming off a dominant 80-61 win over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Clark’s former Iowa teammate Kate Martin remains undefeated in her WNBA career against Clark. Veronica Burton led the Valkyries with 21 points in the win, adding eight rebounds and six assists as well.
You can watch the WNBA all season long on Fubo, where you can watch all nationally televised games on ABC, ESPN, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ION, and NBA TV. Do not miss out on catching the stars of the game all summer, including A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Paige Bueckers.
