Bastille Day festival brings French flair to downtown Columbus

A free Bastille Day street festival will be held Sunday in downtown Columbus.

The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at and around Chouette, a French bistro at 66 N. High St.

Restaurant officials are teaming up with Downtown Columbus, Inc. for the event.

“The Bastille Day Festival is a special opportunity for the community to experience the critically acclaimed cuisine of Chouette under Current,” said Amy Taylor, President of Downtown Columbus, Inc. “We’re excited to bring an afternoon of French culture to the streets of Downtown.”

The event will feature French cuisine, live music, artisan vendors, jazz, street dancing, and an open-air atmosphere.
