LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Celebrations have begun for this year’s annual Tomato Festival in Lawton.
There will be a Tomato Festival Art Show at 6 p.m. on July 11 at the Leslie Powell Gallery.
Festival activities will kick off at 8 a.m. on July 12 at the Lawton Farmers Market.
There’ll be a variety of different products to get, as well as multiple fun competitions.
One will be a contest to see who has the prettiest, ugliest, best-tasting, and biggest tomatoes.
The second contest will be a tomato-based Salsa competition that’ll be accepting participants until 9 a.m. on July 12.
