Cooper Flagg vs. Bronny James tickets for NBA Summer League hitting record prices

NBA Summer League in Las Vegas tips off Thursday, and seats for the first day of games are a hot ticket.

Tickets for Thursday’s slate are among the most expensive in NBA Summer League history, according to multiple ticket marketplaces.

Day 1 includes a matchup between No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg’s Dallas Mavericks and Bronny James’ Los Angeles Lakers, as well as a tilt between No. 2 pick Dylan Harper’s San Antonio Spurs and No. 3 pick VJ Edgecombe’s Philadelphia 76ers.

The average purchase price for admission Thursday is $201, the highest ever according to TickPick, with lower bowl seats starting at $643 and courtside seats selling for $2,519 as of Tuesday afternoon.

SeatGeek, which operates as both a reseller and primary ticketer, lists Thursday’s tickets as the second most in-demand this year, with an average resale ticket price of $135. That figure falls just below Saturday’s average resale price of $137.

Saturday’s schedule features an afternoon matchup between Flagg’s Mavericks and Harper’s Spurs, as well as a game between Edgecombe’s Sixers and No. 4 pick Kon Knueppel’s Charlotte Hornets.

This year’s summer league seems to have piqued fan interest as three of the five most expensive tickets in the event’s history are this year, according to TickPick: Day 1, Day 10 and Day 3, respectively.

The other two most expensive days were Day 1 and Day 3 of the 2023 summer league, which featured that year’s No. 1 pick and current Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.
