Jules Hudson announces filming for new TV series

JULES Hudson has shown his support for the world of agriculture whilst announcing the return of a TV series.

The Escape to the Country presenter took to Instagram to announce the return of Today At The Great Yorkshire Show, a Channel 5 series bringing the “highs and lows” of the show.

Taking his followers around some of the ground on video, Hudson said: “Well folks, all this week I’m in Harrogate at The Great Yorkshire Show, and it’s not just me, Julian Bradbury is here as well, farmers, Rob and Dave, and of course, at least one Yorkshire vet.

“It really is one of my happy places, there’s so much colour here, and so much to tempt everybody, from big boys’ toys to food and animals, you name it, it is here.”

“You can join in all of the fun too. Starting on Thursday night at 8pm on Channel 5, for this year’s: Today at The Great Yorkshire Show.”

Around 35,000 people are said to be attending this year’s show, along with over 8000 animals.

Recently, the 55-year-old presenter revealed he had also been filming for Escape to the Country, revealing an “exclusive” to his followers.

Posting a video of himself with a coastal backdrop on Instagram, the presenter said that this week, they were househunting somewhere the show had never been to before.

“Well folks, I’m shooting another episode of Escape to the Country this week, but I am SO excited to be somewhere the show has never ever been before,” he said.

“If you look at that coastline behind me you could be forgiven for thinking you were perhaps in Cornwall or North Devon or even Pembrokeshire, but here’s the rub.

“Look over there, that is Port Erin, and if you know your geography of the British Isles, hopefully, that means you will appreciate we are on the Isle of Man.

“I’ve never been here before, nor has Escape to the Country, but we are relishing the opportunity to explore somewhere which certainly, for me and for many of us, is new.”
