MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan cross country team has released its 2025 schedule, with races in four different states across the three-month season.
Northern will begin the year with their Wildcat Open Scrimmage in Marquette on August 22.
The regular season gets underway on September 6 when they visit Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the Phoenix Open. NMU will then be in St. Paul, Minnesota, for the annual Roy Griak Invite hosted by the University of Minnesota on September 19.
On September 27, the Green and Gold will make their first of up to three visits to Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the Lucian Rosa Invite hosted by fellow GLIAC-member Parkside.
After a weekend off, a distinctive trip awaits the ‘Cats as they will compete at the Royals Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On October 17, Northern will remain in the Upper Peninsula for the Husky Invitational hosted by Michigan Tech in Houghton.
The GLIAC Championship race will take place on October 25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The NCAA Midwest Regional Championship, as well as the NCAA Championship, will transpire back in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on November 8 and 22.
