Manchester United face a potentially tricky start to the new Premier League season, with games against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea within the first month of the campaign.
Ruben Amorim’s side won’t compete in Europe this term after finishing 15th in the top flight last season, which could benefit the Manchester side long-term.

Now, it has emerged that United are interested in a Serie A striker as they look to bolster Amorim’s attacking options.
According to CaughtOffside, the Manchester giants are pondering a move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The report claims that the Serbia international has attracted interest from several Premier League sides, including Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

Vlahovic, 25, joined The Old Lady from fellow Italian side Fiorentina in 2022 and has since scored 58 goals in 145 games for the club across all competitions.
The striker scored 17 times in 44 games last season but started just 21 Serie A matches, and the report claims that Juventus are prepared to sell the player this summer as they look to reduce their wage bill.
Saudi Pro League sides Al Hilal and Al Ahli are both said to be interested in the Serbian, who is under contract until the end of next season.
Juventus are said to be admirers of United winger Jadon Sancho and have been in talks to sign the Englishman, and the report suggests that the idea of including Sancho in a move for Vlahovic has been touted.
Current United strikers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee both struggled in front of goal last term, and it appears that those in charge of the club ‘s recruitment are now keen to bolster Amorim’s front line.
