Drivers for Uber Technologies Inc. in British Columbia, Canada, joined a union in an effort to negotiate what they said would be the country’s first collective agreement for ride-share drivers.
Uber drivers in Greater Victoria, the province’s capital, joined UFCW 1518 before they kick off talks with the San Francisco-based platform, the union said in a statement on Wednesday.
