What’s different about the Giannis Antetokounmpo situation this offseason? Jim Owczarski discusses next moves for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed with forward Taurean Prince on a two-year, $7.1 million deal, with the first year being the veteran minimum and the second year being a player option.
Prince, 31, signed a one-year, veteran minimum deal to join the Bucks last season and turned in one of the best 3-point shooting seasons in the NBA by making 43.9% of his attempts from distance.
He averaged 8.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for the Bucks, appearing in 80 games (73 starts). His role diminished in the Bucks’ playoff loss to Indiana, however, as he averaged just 12 minutes per game and shot 20% over five games (two starts).
Prince will be entering his 10th season in the league. Originally the No. 12 pick in the 2016 draft by Utah, Prince has played for six teams in the last nine years.
